HLAA National has joined forces with Ida Institute and Mayo Clinic to form a new Hearing Loss Group on the Mayo Clinic Online Community Forum.
Welcome to another resource where you will meet people living with hearing loss and its supporters. You can easily join the discussion, ask your questions, share your story, or just say hello.
Simply join the forum and add yourself to the member list. To receive email notifications when new messages are posted to the Hearing Loss group click the + Follow.
Connect is organized into over 50 groups related to health conditions. Everything from COVID-19, Depression & Anxiety, About Kids & Teens, Aortic Aneurysms to Transplants and Women’s Health. Most of all, "Connect" offers a place where you can share your story and find support with just a few clicks!
“Peer-to-peer support is a natural extension of person-centered care,” says Ida Managing Director Lise Lotte Bundesen. “We are proud to work with Mayo Clinic and HLAA on this online group that gives people with hearing loss a new avenue to connect with each other as well as hearing care professionals.”

Chapters offer emotional support, camaraderie, tips and techniques for living with hearing loss, technical information about hearing assistive technology, in a hearing-friendly place.
