The The Hearing Loss Association of Florida, Inc. (HLAA-FL) website is one of the most visited and comprehensive sites related to hearing loss throughout the State of Florida. We are under the national umbrella of The Hearing Loss Association of America headquartered in Rockville, MD.

We strive to provide our audience with the latest information on products, services, research, and technology in the hearing health care field. Our visitors and members look for practical and useful information. They also find personal stories of people with hearing loss to find encouragement and give them the feeling that they are not alone and can live successfully with a hearing loss.

Previous State Chapter Coordinator Returns.

Previous State Chapter Coordinator of Florida Tanya Williams returns to assist in chapter development and support.

Chapter Coordinators provide a crucial link between HLAA’s national office and local chapters. Chapter Coordinators help to foster growth among current chapters and help start new chapters. They can forge strong ties with leaders and show them how the HLAA national organization supports and benefits their organizations. Remember, just like chapter and state organization leaders, Chapter Coordinators are volunteer members committed to our mission. Tanya states after attending the 2019  National Convention in Rochester, NY it renewed her understanding of the work HLAA is committed to doing. It was at the convention she met with National Chapter and Membership Coordinator Carla Beyer-Smolin and agreed to return.

HLAA Florida is happy to have Tanya return to this position.
